Michele L. Power
Michele Power received her law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law, where she was on the Dean's list and an active participant in the school's clinical program. Michele received her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Prior to attending law school Michele was a certified faculty member of the Lower Kuskokwim School District.
Michele has practiced law in Alaska for over 10 years. During this period of time she has successfully represented clients in a variety of matters including personal injury, wrongful death, family law, and criminal defense. Michele has obtained a number of jury verdicts and substantial settlements in favor of her clients. She has also represented clients before the Alaska Court of Appeals. Michele is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Alaska Trial Lawyer Association. She is also a member of the Washington State Bar.
Michele’s long term familiarity with the local culture and her dedication to her clients ensures that her clients obtain maximum results whether through litigation or settlement.
Sean E. Brown
Sean Brown is a graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. During law school Sean was on the Dean’s list, and a participant of student government and a variety of other student activities.
Following law school, but prior to relocating to Alaska, Sean practiced law in Chicago in the area of employment litigation representing plaintiffs in various employment claims before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and other courts and administrative agencies.
In January, 2001, Sean relocated to Bethel where he has worked as an attorney successfully representing clients in a variety of matters, including a number of jury trials in the Alaskan Courts. Sean works hard to ensure that his clients receive the best possible results whether in a civil matter or a criminal matter.
In addition to practicing law, Sean has been actively involved in the Bethel Community. He has lead seminars in Employment Law, Will Preparation and Probate, and taught Real Estate Law through YUUT Elitnaurvait and Economics through the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Kuskokwim Campus. He has also served on the board of Bethel Community Services and other community organizations.
Ryan Jerman
Ryan Jerman attended law school at the University of Minnesota. After graduation from law school, Ryan spent several years living in Europe before relocating back to the United States.
Ryan is licensed to practice law in the State of Alaska. Ryan is a member of the Alaska Bar Association and American Association For Justice. In his practice of law, Ryan makes an effort to thoroughly understand his clients' needs. By doing so, he can better pair his legal talents with their desired outcome for the case.
Power and Brown's clients come from various backgrounds and speak various languages. Ryan speaks Spanish and can assist those needing an attorney with that capability.
